Through our Everything 4-H Club, Fort Worth Connect is committed to preparing youth and future leaders for a successful transition into adulthood by exposing them to a wide variety of career paths and essential life skills. Our program introduces participants to different professions, including those in higher education, technical trades, entrepreneurship, and emerging industries. We bring in professionals from diverse fields to share their expertise, providing real-world insights and guidance to inspire participants and broaden their horizons.   

In addition to career exploration, the Everything 4-H Club focuses on teaching critical life skills that are often overlooked but essential for personal and professional success. This includes financial literacy, communication skills, time management, teamwork, and problem-solving. Participants engage in hands-on projects that mimic real-world scenarios, allowing them to apply what they’ve learned in a practical setting. Whether it's building a budget, managing a project, or learning how to network effectively, these experiences equip them with tools they will use throughout their lives.   

We also emphasize the development of leadership qualities, helping participants grow into responsible, confident, and community-minded individuals. By encouraging teamwork and collaboration, we teach young people the importance of working together, developing empathy, and leading with integrity. Our goal is not only to prepare them for the workforce but also to help them become well-rounded individuals capable of making informed decisions and contributing positively to their communities.   

Through this program, we provide a foundation for young people to succeed, regardless of the path they choose, ensuring they are equipped with both the professional insights and the life skills necessary for long-term achievement.
